Registration and Admittance Policies

Refunds
Refunds will be issued for written, fax or email cancellations only that are received at the registration office on or before September 10, 2009. No telephone cancellations accepted. Note: Refund is limited to basic registration fees. No ticket prices for special events or tours can be refunded.

Under 18 Years of Age Policies
Attendees must be over 18 years of age to attend a technical tour. Children can accompany parents to any sightseeing tour unless otherwise designated. For safety reasons, no one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the exhibit hall during setup. Minors will be allowed in the exhibit hall during the Career Fair posted hours, but only if accompanied by a parent or guardian. For specific questions regarding age limits and policies, please contact the Conference Management office at 1-800-892-2858.

Guest Fee Clarification
Our special reduced guest fee is limited to one guest per paid registrant (with the exception of the registrant’s children under 18 years of age). The guest fee is limited to spouses and other guests of participants. The guest fee includes exhibit events and general non-paid social events. Guests are allowed to purchase tickets to paid events when accompanied by a participant, excluding professional Career-Enhancement Series (CES) Courses.

Career Fair Only Badges
Local students and professional job seekers are encouraged to attend our Career Fair on Friday, October 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for a nominal fee (refer to registration form for fees). However, this badge is restricted to those seeking positions.

Conference Events

Please check your onsite schedule which will be in your attendee materials to locate your sessions and meetings. Most events will be held in the Long Beach Convention Center. Most invitation-only receptions will be held at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.

Career Resource Center/Cyber Centers

If you need to update your résumé, check your email, or get some work done for your meeting, WE09 has many resources available free of charge. With the support of our sponsors, we will supply computers, printers and host internet access.

Childcare

WE09 will offer onsite childcare services at the conference through a local provider. There is no charge to the attendee, however, availability is limited.
